The cold wind blew through the trees. A dark shape was waiting. It was dusk, and Ali was walking through to get home. She quickly cut the path and walked to the deeper part f the trees, where the shadow was waiting. Waiting. She walked closer to the creature, unaware of its existence. Walking closer to it, she looked straight at it, bright red eyes glowing like coals. She stopped. "He-hello?" She asked, gasping. The shadow came up to her, smiling, big wide smile. Fangs cutting deep into the smile, it growled, and ran towards her. It had swift speed. Five minutes later, he bounded back into the forest, blood dripping down his long fangs.

What virtually every world culture or mythology has in common is some form of demonology: internal or external manifestations of malevolence that plague the unlucky – or those who bring a plague upon themselves.

Some relics survive death. Some return with it. When brilliant young demonologist Esmira Hart retrieves a delicate handkerchief from the charred remains of a haunted house, she doesn't realize she's taken home more than a relic-she's brought back a wrathful spirit. The embroidered 'E' on the hanky should've been her first warning. As Esmira's younger sister starts acting strange and chilling visions take hold, Esmira races against time to uncover the handkerchief's origins. But the spirit known only as Emerland isn't interested in peace. She wants vengeance. And she's not alone. As past and present blur, the line between haunted and possessor dissolves. This isn't just a ghost story. It's a curse stitched in blood, grief, and fire. The Hanky is a terrifying, slow-burn psychological horror that pulls you in with whispers and leaves you screaming in silence. Fans of The Haunting of Hill House, The Conjuring, and Bhram-brace yourselves.

Fans of The Historian won’t be able to put down this spellbinding literary horror story in which a Columbia professor must use his knowledge of demonic mythology to rescue his daughter from the Underworld. Professor David Ullman is among the world’s leading authorities on demonic literature, with special expertise in Milton’s Paradise Lost. Not that David is a believer—he sees what he teaches as a branch of the imagination and nothing more. So when the mysterious Thin Woman arrives at his office and invites him to travel to Venice and witness a “phenomenon,” he turns her down. She leaves plane tickets and an address on his desk, advising David that her employer is not often disappointed. That evening, David’s wife announces she is leaving him. With his life suddenly in shambles, he impulsively whisks his beloved twelve-year-old daughter, Tess, off to Venice after all. The girl has recently been stricken by the same melancholy moods David knows so well, and he hopes to cheer her up and distract them both from the troubles at home. But what happens in Venice will change everything. First, in a tiny attic room at the address provided by the Thin Woman, David sees a man restrained in a chair, muttering, clearly insane… but could he truly be possessed? Then the man speaks clearly, in the voice of David’s dead father, repeating the last words he ever spoke to his son. Words that have left scars—and a mystery—behind. When David rushes back to the hotel, he discovers Tess perched on the roof’s edge, high above the waters of the Grand Canal. Before she falls, she manages to utter a final plea: Find me. What follows is an unimaginable journey for David Ullman from skeptic to true believer. In a terrifying quest guided by symbols and riddles from the pages of Paradise Lost, David must track the demon that has captured his daughter and discover its name. If he fails, he will lose Tess forever.

𝓙𝓸𝓱𝓷 𝓒𝓸𝓷𝓼𝓽𝓪𝓷𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓮 has such an unique way to see the world: he knows unimaginable things about life and afterlife but it wasn't his choice, he was just born like that, he was born with a thing he called "𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓖𝓲𝓯𝓽 " , something that we may think of as magic but is actually truer than a cold blade piercing your chest. The Gift's is like a joke of the fate, made by the devil himself to torture John and he would have given it away and forgot about all that darkness immediately if he only could but he can't so he has to go by seeing things normal people just see in their worst nightmares and trying to survive with this horrifying weight on his shoulders. John isn't an usual human being, he's a man who literally has to face the pains of hell, and no one ever saw him surrendering , but this is only an image that he gives to himself, this is the shield with which he protects himself from life, if only someone had ever stopped to look him in the eyes, his sad deep big brown eyes, if only someone hadn't treated him like an 𝓸𝓾𝓽𝓬𝓪𝓼𝓽, an arrogant half-man fool, he would have understood that John is a good man after all... because he is, he has always been but he had to hide the child, the boy and the man he never could be and always had to imprison him in the deepest of his soul to simply be John Constantine: 𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓗𝓮𝓵𝓵𝓫𝓵𝓪𝔃𝓮𝓻, the rude asshole that everyone ends up hating, the one even God hates... And it is so difficult to keep a soul alive without ever having experienced anything but pain, terror, hatred and death, without have never known love, without have never lived life, because he never had an usual normal life and to be honest his life has never even been a real life, it is insipid, empty and alone and the only thing that gives it meaning is to protect the world, that world that hates and derides him so much, from the dark truth that hides behind eve
