I read 2 stories like this but neither are being updated so I'm gonna make 1 inspection by them. (I forgot who created them) I don't own demon slayer and in this Muzan and Tanjiro are both the same age.

As he came closer to the stream he saw a figure crouching at the edge. They seemed to be cleaning something off of their hands. The person the stood and stepped out of the shadow they were crouching in. When they turned he saw something that sent a wave of disbelief and shock but also terror and fear. In the eyes of the figure there were kanji that wrote 'Upper Zero'. Hello :D! Hi it's the author this is a demon Tanjiro story if you couldn't tell by the tags. There isn't really any ships in this but it's like mostly Tanjiro appreciation so like instead of 'omg Tanjiro is literally so hawt!' It's more like 'If anybody lays even a finger on him I will chop off your reproductive organs.' The only thing he could do in that moment was nod as his body began to shake in fear at the anticipation of what this demon would do to him. "Goodbye Tanjiro." He whispered under his breath, touching the boy's forehead. After he chanted a incantation, the red-headed boy feel unconscious, resting in the demon's arms. Nobody would ever know that that same boy would never return. Neither as himself, or as a human.

So Tanjiro had always been a demon and he knew that, that is why they started in the mountain just to keep Tanjiro in line. Tanjiro does not like human blood or flesh and he can walk in the sun just like a normal human. He is a very special demon. So when his family dies and all he has left is Nezuko how will he manage to survive on their mountain well hiding from Muzan and demon slayers?

In this story Tanjiro offers him self to be killed in stead of Nezuko but of course Muzan never had intentions to kill her, but turn her into a demon. So Tanjiro end up becoming a demon in her place. I don't own "Demon slayer" all rights are reserved for Koyoharu Gotōge.

Following the events of the official manga. Tanjiro transforms into the demon king and as follows, Kanao was suppose to inject him with the cure but what happens if she couldn't. How will the corps survive when a demon who bears the sun is out? Will the city of Tokyo fall? Will Tengan and Rengokuo's father have to come out of retirement? Will tanjiro be able to turn back to human? Will our Hashrias survive? Would someone we know be turned into a demon? Who are these new faces? And finally what exactly is the blue spider lily? Part 3/? is out. Extra Note: This story is for all the fans who like demon slayer and decided to use wattpad because you can't wait for the next season to come out. As the title suggests it is a divergence from the main cannon story except in this story it will be following the near ending chapters of the story. I will try to make the characters sound the same. Any deaths that happen is what I feel like would happen. At least in the piece I'm writing. So Tanjiro went to sell his coal but Nezuko went with him to sell some of her mom bread to gain extra money. What if tanjiro left early and left Nezuko to continue selling her mother's bread. What if Nezuko arrived late home to find her family killed but her brother a demon. And what if instead of letting Nezuko and her brother go, they where escort to the Ubuyashiki house to have an trail right way. In my story Ubuyashiki and Gyomei can see but their eyes are just look like blind people eyes. In this book, their will no ship shaming of any sort or I'll report you. Basically I've been reading stories for a while now and decided to write one myself. Well the basic storyline is where tanjiro becomes a demon and nezuko survives. But there is a plot twist. Tanjiro never lost his true memories and does not attack people, like tamayo but he kills the people who steal, rob and murder. I hope you enjoy this story. It might not be as good as others cause this is my first time but anyway thank you!
