Dear Diary, My shift today ran for nine hours in front of house, yet it felt like two. A boy in ragged formal wear and a mess of yellowish hair has started to become a regular, though he does more talking than sipping on whatever drink I had suggested that day. He makes me laugh. His stories of massive fights and impossible battles amuse me. Every now and then, he slips in a "did I already say that?" or "I think I'm rambling." Those little moments drive me crazy, and I don't I've laughed harder a day in my life. Though I'm not sure whether it's the strain in my voice or the fast thump in my chest that gives away something about this man had me fall for him.
