Turning back to meet her lover, Reze and Denji now walk a tedious line threaded between their blooming romance and the endless wrath of Makima, the Control Devil. Through this trivial debut of a relationship, Reze both daydreams what life as a country mouse could mean, and becomes increasingly anxious that she is being watched and that something is bound to go wrong. Denji, on the other hand, is making the first real decision of his life; will he trust Reze and leave everything he's grown to love in pursuit of a life with her?
