After the death and destruction of her home planet, Pandioria, Kameko is forced to find a new home. By hitching a ride on a space shuttle, she arrives at Earth, a planet completely unknown to her kind, the Vers. When she gets there, she meets 16 year old Brie Smith, who takes interest in Kameko and houses her, oblivious to her true identity.
