❝You ain't ever getting a chance with my sister,❞ he told me. ❝Shut your mouth, Phillips. You have no right to interfere with what I feel!❞ I shout. ❝So you do like me?❞ I hear her ask. I turn around to see her walking out of the house. I panic. ❝She's my twin sister, Rodriguez. And you hate me. Why would you like her?❞ Phillips asks. I look over at him. ❝It doesn't matter. She's way different from you. I may have swung and missed the first time, but I promise I won't fail this time.❞ <><><> Ashley Phillips had a twin. Her twin was Jacob Phillips. But everyone calls him Phillips. She plays baseball but her brother never lets her play with him and his team. So one day, she wanders around until she finds a field. The field that was in her dreams. The Sandlot. But there was something wrong with the field. There were boys playing on it. The boys question her at first, because they know who her brother is. This is the story of a young girl who happens to be the granddaughter of George Herman "The Babe" Ruth. She finds herself meeting about 8 other baseball players when they end up in the biggest pickle ever. Along the way, she discovers new feelings. Will she deny them? Embrace them? Ignore them?

(FAST PACED) A young girl had once again moved with one of her best friend, Scotty Smalls. Though this time it was different, they weren't going back and forth between the two towns that their parents couldn't seem to decide upon which one to stay at. They were going to a completely different atmosphere, one they had known no one from. Soon that will all change when Scotty makes new friends and soon enough become y/n's.
