Growing up without a father figure in my life wast always easy nor was it helpful since I didn't have a mother figure either my dad got deported When I was three back to outside of America and my mother struggled with drugs an alcohol. I had to learn how to take care of myself at such a young age and become the parent figure for Mother instead since she wasn't taking care of herself. In this novel, I'll be going through the stages of anger, denial, depression and acceptance on growing through and growing up through the years my father wasn't around and how I was able to move past that while being the person I a today. This is my story.

I have a notebook. A best friend who's not in my village anymore. With no means of communication between us. A socially awkward, introverted personality. Some so-called great writing skills. Remember the notebook I mentioned earlier? It just HAPPENS to be magical. I think.

This short poem is for my late mother whom I lost when I was just five. Since god invented no way to talk to the departed souls, this poem conveys how badly I miss my mother even after 14 long years. I had too little time to tell her she was my treasure!!
