"The Demon Within" tells the haunting story of a girl possessed by a demon that lives deep inside her soul. The demon isn't a visible creature, it's a dark presence that feeds on her pain, fear, and sorrow, whispering lies and tormenting her mind until she feels trapped within her own body.
Every day, she hides behind a fragile smile while the demon quietly destroys her from the inside. Despite her desperate pleas for peace, the torment never stops. Eventually, exhausted and broken, she decides to end her life, not out of weakness, but as an act of final rebellion.
With her death, she frees herself from his control. The demon, once powerful and sustained by her suffering, is left abandoned in the void, helpless and alone, imprisoned in eternal silence.
The poem explores mental torment, inner demons, and the tragic beauty of liberation through death, blending horror with sorrow and a bittersweet sense of victory.
