He would sit at her grave talking to her, walk around his house talking to her, everyone thought it was a phrase, until he hit 16 and said he had a girlfriend, his parents were excited for him. Soon to find out he was referring to his best friend. Kaleb slowly went more insane believing it was all real, that Ashlyn was still really there. Every time someone would try to tell him different he would argue to prove them wrong. Because he could still see her and hear her, and feel her there with him.
