It was supposed to be just a simple camping trip with four friends, Tonie Crypt, Fourrest Wood, and Dipper and Mabel Pines. But the event soon turned sour as Tonie disappears. As the remaining three go out to search for the teen, what they find, will change their lives forever. The corruption has come... Also this story is HEAVILY based on Jennifer Lawrence's "The Hanging Tree" from The Hunger Games.

He always said something was off. Everyone told him to just stop being paranoid. Unfortunately, his obsession with the journals is beginning to take over his conscious mind. (Title edit by me. Original art by Tumblr user zapekanka007)

Dipper's been having visions. Terrifying ones. Ones that distort his world to the point where he can't tell reality from his dreams. He thinks his sister is evil. He thinks his Grunkle Stan is dead. He doesn't know what to do anymore. He doesn't know who to trust. Mabel is afraid. She's found a demon living in her mirror, and evil version of herself that threatens to destroy anything and everything. She doesn't know how long she can hold up this way. If anything gets out of hand with this demon, she could be responsible for the death of everything she loves. But that's exactly what happened.

Mabel starts forgetting things. There are gaps in her memory, and no matter how hard she tries, she can't seem to recall them. Dipper starts to notice the strange actions Mabel does from time to time. He starts to watch her closely, and finds out something that may cost him his life...

Dipper had always been a troubled child, prone to violent out burst, hallucinations of all kinds, self inflicted wounds, etc... One summer with their Great Uncles and older Sister everything went out the door for seemingly no reason. The poor boy had gone completely insane and was locked up in an asylum.
