Apart from Dark poetry, 1st time I've written this type of poem, I hope you won't regret.

Be it rumors or lies a truth you despise only through poetry, could you remove its disguise. Be it rhyme or reason, betraying myself through revealing what deep down I'm feeling. I don't truly believe it to be treason.

wasted our time

The portrayal of a teenage girl's broken-winged life. Trying to refer various antiseptics and cures, and attending to soulful people was her brain-dead life Reckoning that the world's remedy will work. BUT!?.. But what if her wing was never broken and was just her intuition?.. What if she was an owl who forgot to spot her trail of misconceptions? Will she be able to spot it or continue with fake remedies of life?.....

Thoughts, just random thoughts.

15 year old Jadyah Mason lives in a small apartment in Brooklyn with her 87 year old grandmother Mabel who is battling Alzheimer's after her mother left and never came back, and also without a father she never met. Jadyah believes her grandmother is on the verge of dying and she nor her grandmother can afford treatments or hospital bills. But Jadyah desires completing her grandmother's bucket list she found from when she was her age and hopefully finding her mother and confronting her. Her grandmother's last goal was to move into a amazingly beautiful house in the suburbs with a stable job. Jadyah feels it is now her job to reach that goal for her and reach her own goal of finding her mother while doing so.
