She was the dew-fragile, transient, arriving just before the cold to rest upon everything the earth thought was unworthy of love. They were never meant to stay. They were never promised tomorrow. But some slow things change the entire season just by touching. A slow-burn story of two passing things learning how to shine.

Ben's life has always been the same: bad guy shows up, he saves the world, then goes back to watching Sumo Slammers. Until one day, something happens that shatters his normal life. During a routine fight as Feedback, Ben's Omnitrix destabilizes and connects him to nearly every living soul in the universe. He can hear everything: the dying sound of a young man getting smashed by a truck, the sounds of dying civilizations conquered by Vilgax, and the last words of Magister Labrid said to him before dying. Ben has no idea what is going on. Will he be able to solve this mystery?
