Isabella visits her old family beach home with her childhood friend, Chloe. This very beach was where Isabella's parents and brother had mysteriously disappeared. Isabella holds a secret that she has to keep hidden as a promise to her parents, she's a mermaid but would she be able to hold the secret away from her friends and keep her new friends save from exposure?

Celeste has grown up in a house full of noise but very little attention directed toward her. She's quiet, thoughtful, and constantly underestimated. Her family doesn't mean to hurt her - but their distractions, ambitions, and conflicts make her feel like she's a background extra in her own home. The story follows her journey from invisibility to self-definition, exploring subtle wounds: birthdays half-remembered, achievements unnoticed, conversations interrupted, and moments where she realizes she's present but unseen....

These are a series of short stories. They don't really tie in together, or are a part of a greater plot. They're just simple, short tales that I wish to tell. I hope that you enjoy!

After living a long life, one day we will leave this world. What will be left behind? Worn-out clothes? Unnecessary belongings? Or forgotten memories? What will be left after we die? For many, we will be gone and forgotten as ordinary people. Wouldn't it be nice if people could remember something after our death? It might be really bad to be non-existent, to be forgotten, like nothing that you have done in your life. That's why I write even if no one reads it. I hope that after my death what I write will remain here. And I hope that one day anyone looking at the stories here will see this little profile and discover the world of an ordinary writer.

Short story (completed) When you lack air everything becomes complicated, because I was slowly losing my breath. Sirena is a young 25 year old woman who has been suffering from an unknown illness for 15 years. She is slowly becoming incapable of breathing. She knows she doesn't have much time but when her doctor gives her the chance to dive under water, something unexpected and impossible happens.

The story revolves around being concentric, focused. And how today's consumerist culture is making is go away from our intrinsic nature.
