After the Clans escape the sudden, constant natural disasters hitting the Lake Territories, they find shelter in a new territory. The Medicine Cats consulted with themselves, and spread that Starclan has a new plan, and that the Clans must split up differently now. And so, four different Clans form: Hydrangeaclan, Bearclan, Whaleclan and Flamingclan. The new Clans live in peace and harmony for about three years, with little tensions ever now and then. But, all of that changes when Hydrangeaclan's first Leader, Hydrangeastar, suddenly dissapears and her Deputy, Titanicdreams, takes her place. The situation is not only fishy, but the new Leader herself. Something is happening, and it is not good...

The Lake is far behind them, now. And the faces of the villagers have turned from plaid to pale. The deputy whispers, "They don't trust us." But it falls on deaf ears. The roads are empty, and the only sounds that filter through the woods are those belonging to things best left alone. "Don't worry, we'll find it," says the sheriff after another long day.
