On August 27th, 2011, I recorded my first album, DERELICT, which has not yet been released to the public. This album was the kick starter to the studio's creation, only Bassuit Records was not its original name. Originally, BR was known as Fallen Roads for its representation of the marketing of musicians on the East Coast. In September of the following year, the studio's name was changed to Synerarium Studios, having its name deriving from a very similar message. This name was created to target the originality I was trying to express. After realizing the complications of having an original name with no clear indications of using the English dictionary, I decided to change the studio's name to something more personal. As of February 2013, the word Bassuit was added to the repertoire of BR's aliases. It was used simply to signify my love for wearing suits and playing the bass, thus creating the name Luke Bassuit. In an effort to test the demographics, in June of 2014, Lukas Fallen was created as a stage name in remembrance of the studio's original name. However, the name was reverted quickly back to Luke Bassuit, and as of October of 2014, the studio had earned its title of Bassuit Records, which it remains still to this day.

What once was is no longer. The world as you know it has been destroyed. The sky has lost it color. The sun shrinks by the day. A man searches for his lost daughter. Only he has the exact tools necessary to find her. But will he get there in time? Let us pray that he does. Enter Yttrio Vertoli (Pronounced ee-Tree-yo vurr-Tool-ee), son of rebellion, who's sole existence is labeled a mistake, an evil of the highest degree, not deserving to live but refusing to die, the greatest cause of shame and hatred in the whole kingdom of Etherea. And yet, no one could exactly determine what he had done wrong to make him so despised. They had just been told to hate, and hate they did. But, being treated as such has a way of hardening up a person. So Yttrio was hardened, not against others but himself. He hated himself for being so inferior, so naturally unworthy of attention, appreciation, and god forbid, respect. He chose to shut down his emotions, to become dark inside. But a wise old man taught him differently. Yttrio learned to care, and more importantly, to love. It was not an easy task to learn, but it burned into his soul and left a mark that would never fade. This is his story. A tale of man with nothing to lose. A man who would give up his life if it meant saving the one who is closest to him. A man who never quit, never surrendered. A fool if I ever saw one.

In the future, a lone human ship Captain and his partner AI, out on a salvage recovery mission, will learn a bit more about each other while recovering a bit of the horrors of the past. There are some grizzly bits but nothing overt nor disgusting, so it should be readable by anyone without warning. Author's Note: while I'm not very pleased with my ending to this, I'll accept it as part of my learning to write better with time. This is part of my one story a month self challenge meant to inspire me to write more in the future.
