She had learned to settle for a loveless marriage to someone she barely knew. She had learned to deal with her pampered peers and her constant diplomatic instability. All of this was doable. That is to say, she expected it. It was bargained for. What she definitely didn't bargain for was Harry. He was her best friend since childhood, even though their only means of communication was through bottled messages thrown into the sea. During Caitriona's second year of highschool, it just got weirder. Four kids from the Isle were accepted into Auradon Prep. She should've known then her life was only going to get more interesting. In hindsight, a school teaching the kids of people who spent their lives navigating dangerous situations probably should have had a class on navigating dangerous situations.
