Descending Geschichten

A collection of the poetry I wrote during the 2024-2025 year.

To be honest, I'm not a lucid dreamer. Lucid dreaming would be the hardest subject ever were it permitted in mainstream curriculum or were there not for 2 titans, Literature and P.E. But here they are, a few stories that I could remember after exiting the dream world. Be aware of some mysteriously mind-screwing events that you may encounter once deciding to set out on this journey.

Just a flight attendant guy who should not be in a plane with how clumsy he is. Inevitably, the worst possible thing short of causing the plane to crash happens, at least from his perspective. He goes on an unrealistically long feeling ride toward the greatest fear of many people, the end that we all eventually come to.

It is my intention that this tempoem will bring some cheer to the creator of this form of poetry, Bill Temple.

I was inspired to write this poem as one of my new year's resolutions which is to experiment with more different poetry styles. This is only my second nonet, the first being FORT DE SOLEIL, published on March 09, 2014.

I wish to dedicate this playful tempoem to dog lovers all over the world. This poem is a sequel to MY PAL DAL, a tribute that I published recently (Feb. 8, 2016) to my best friend who loves all animals, especially dogs and birds.

The inspiration for this tempoem comes from the revelry of the celebrations that often take place in Canadian pubs during Canada Day.

The inspiration for this tempoem came to me when I was daydreaming about how wonderful it would be to have a daughter. I admire my friends', siblings' and sister-in-law's beautiful daughters and granddaughters. I realize what a treasure chest of companionship I am lacking.
