The massive pyramid that stands in front of me is one of the most, if not the most famous pyramid ever. Once I lay my eyes on the breathtaking structure, it's not hard to see why it was deemed one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. ----- A writing piece I did for my Advanced Language Arts class as a descriptice writing project. I thought it was one of my better works, so I decided to post it here. Word Count: 238 words

I do some writing, and some would call them poems. they are not poems, more like writing that describes various mental, and emotional states I have been in and things I struggle with. most of my work is dark but I'm working on some brighter ones tho I don't think they will come out for a while. if you read this know that they are dark and I don't expect many people to read all of these and fully expect people to stop reading them at some point I'll update as I go sometimes there be something added fast or it could take a while it depends if its something I already have written or if its new

This is really just a book for me to practice my descriptive writing. I think of noun (person, place or thing) and I make up a scenario about it in my head, and then try to describe it the best that I can with vivid adjectives and adverbs. In each entry I will have to include the 5 senses (touch, hear, see, smell, taste). Hope you read these little 'stories'!

In my English class, we were told to write a descriptive writing piece on 9/11 with a randomly selected synopsis and mine was to write about a tourist/shopper witnessing the event. Here is my attempt:
