At a football game, the first of the season, things become tense for Desi Costa. She wants to support her doting boyfriend of two years and captain of the football team, Kyler Schulz, but at this one fateful game, she learns of the rivalry. One year before, Kyler dated the archnemesis team captain's girlfriend behind his back just to spite him. Hurt because he was also cheating on her at that time, Desi breaks it off. She surprisingly finds solace in talking with Zen Yamazaki. A boy who works at a cafe she loved to go to. In befriending him, she also befriends the enemy school's football captain, Caden Russ who is Zen's step-brother.

So, I decided to convert Shakespeare's play "Othello" into a poem. This poem is like a summary of the story, basically the main events that occurred throughout the play.

This tale is about one of the four princesses in the Kingdom of Tempera, the melancholy princess Desdemona, who was chosen against her will as the caretaker of castle Mortar in the mining town Cliffmount. It's been several years since the war between the Kingdom of Tempera and the Chalodny Empire began. Cliffmount has however been unaffected by the events of the war, but has had enough problems to deal with from within. Once Desdemona turned 18, she aquired all control over castle Mortar, much to the previous Headmistress Mallory's dismay. Desdemona however despises the castle, the city and the responsibilities she was given by her Father, King Tempur, and would rather have nothing to do with her newly aquired power. What will come in the near future for her is trouble in the cold mining town. The power hungry headmistress who seeks to take over again, old myths of magical crystals belonging to ancient beasts, but also a young convict who may convince her that life maybe isn't all that bad. So here it goes, Desdemona is an author writing about her three year relationship with Alastor. Alastor is a manipulative no good man, who makes Desdemona fall in love with him just to break her heart. This story is written from the point of view of Desdemona writing the story for a book.

Desdemona is a young girl, who often gets abused by her step father and aunt. She has nobody to love her or care about her in the world. She only has a teddy bear, which was her only childhood toy given by her mother. Desdemona later escapes from her home, not being able to tolerate the pain and hardship caused by her step father and aunt. She escapes with her teddy bear. What will happen to her next? Her teddy bear will change her life.

A short piece written in 2013 for my high school assignment. The task was essentially write some Othello fanfiction about what happened before the events of Othello took place. I had originally uploaded it onto deviantART but since I don't really use it any more, thought I would add it here haha.
