Joey is your average eighteen year old, for the most part. School feels meaningless. The future feels like its coming too fast. Violence is so normalized it hardly registers anymore. The only thing that keeps Joey tethered is Ben. His friends charm and recklessness make it far too easy to ignore how serious their conversations are becoming. Nothing Noble is a story about alienation, teenage nihilism, and the thin line between joking about something and meaning it.

A short article that was written on November 10th, 2010 after a heated debated about an image floating around the net that implied "comedic" value to the topic of rape. Even if this article effects only one person and educates them to rethink their choices of words when they speak, than it was worth every second it took to write.
