Victoria is a successful lawyer living with her husband and children in New York. Victoria has everything she could ever dream of, but she's very unhappy. She realizes her unhappiness stems from never reaching for her dreams of being an artist. Everything in her life she did it because she was "supposed" to do it, not because she actually wanted it. She just kept up with the expectations of those around her. She has a win in court, but she isn't happy about the win or success of her case. She takes a walk in the park where she meets a woman who reminds her how important it is for her to maintain a relationship with God. That is when she looks back on her life and sees she's completely neglected her relationship with God. Victoria decides in that moment she is going to reconnect with God. She leaves her family in the middle of the night and gets dropped off on a deserted island to fast for 40 days. Victoria's intent is to only be away from her family for exactly 40 days but, that all changes when she meets Michael and Lu, twin brothers living on the island, displaying both good and evil. Victoria realizes m she cannot leave the island until she has put in the work necessary for her to have a solid relationship with God. Each day she's on the island, she has to learn a new lesson and with each lesson, she receives a small gift, and with each fail, she receives a nasty gift. Which path, good or evil, will Victoria choose.

After Laura graduates, she's looking for the perfect place to start a brand new adult life! While browsing the internet, she finds a package for an island get-away! The perfect place to begin! But with high rent, weed problems, building stores, donating to museums, and feuding neighbors, island life isn't what it seems to be. Will Laura be able to make an awesome island? Or will it all come crashing down on her?

Yeah no I'm not finishing it unless someone really wants me too. All the same, it was my first try at an actual book and I'd love it if people took a look. For anyone who knows a darn thing about Alienation, this was my first attempt. How far it's come! It is about a girl named Silver who is having dreams about a strange place and strange people. When a tragic situation lands her in the very place she's been dreaming of, Silver has to figure out what she's doing there and what connection it has with her past. Most importantly, she must decide what she will now do with her life.

"Please remain calm and in your seats. Your lifejackets are under your chairs, and your seats are buoyant so do not panic." The stewardess smiled prettily at everyone on the plane, hoping to calm down the panicking people. You woke up to people screaming. Wondering what had interrupted your dream, you looked around and saw people frantically searching for lifejackets. Starting to feel a little panicked, you looked out the window and saw the ocean getting rather close and approaching fast. You grabbed the lifejacket and buckled it on securely. Holding your backpack which contained all of your clothes tightly, you closed your eyes and tried to block it all out.
