Dream and Joy a match made in heaven, at least by the gods. Euphrosyne is the wife of Dream the Endless and is the Goddess of Mirth, Good Cheer, and Joy. Her joy is everlasting especially since she is with the Dream King, Prince of Stories. Dream of the Endless is still smarting after his fight with Hob even though years have passed and in a moment of hurt, he banishes his wife. Then he is imprisoned, and she is banished from the Dreaming. He rejects her banishment when he sees her again after being freed. However, her joy has waned due to her banishment, Dream and Joy will need become the match they always were again.

Princess Cassandra of Troy was cursed by the god Apollo for turning down his advances. In an effort to protect the women in her fathers employ from soldiers with similar intentions, she alters their dreams into nightmares. But once the King of Dreams finds out, they form an unlikely friendship. (This is loosely based on the Greek myths of Cassandra of Troy, but will eventually bring the characters into the modern era)

Rewrite

Morpheus feels equal disdain and fascination for humanity, envy even at times. After having embarked upon a journey to find his sand, helm, and ruby, he was left empty- stronger, yet unfulfilled. His talk with his sister, Death, had stuck with him. But where was he supposed to find another purpose? A purpose beyond his function? Turns out it would land right in the lap of his realm, unhappily. Morpheus, the Prince of Stories, is met with an unrealized tale, a 15 year old Giovanna Cassidy, an angry, opinionated singer and her band who bring a certain moxie to the life of an anthropomorphic personification of dreams. Giovanna, a singer living in downtown New York with her grandma after the devastating loss of her brother, Omari, is dedicated to bringing change during a time that especially needs it along with her band of talented friends. Unknowingly, she gets into an argument with the king of dreams over a recurring nightmare that she just can't shake. And, despite harsh words, slowly becomes friends with him. In her search for her purpose, she becomes the purpose of an Endless.
