There is a saying, and it goes like this: "Humans aren't always going to behave as we think we all should, for we can be bad, as we can be good." Only the bad has outrun the good. After the 'Devastation' occurred, monsters did not only live inside humans. They lived on the bare crust of the earth. Everything was left to die; the flowers, the trees, the animals, the humans. The world had become corrupt. And that was when the bases came into play. Paix, Pratique, and Préjudice. The three that branched off from the suburban original; the Quarter Base. They were designed to protect each other, although they were only a distraction from the real world beyond the boundaries of a 'perfect life'. That was what Jake Lawson and his partner Marie Wyatt had feared from the very start. But there were more secrets kept beyond the golden bars of the Quarter Base- and they were only just about to find out the devastating truth of their real past. What had happened all those many years ago. //ENTERED IN THE WATTYS 2015. Death Bringer now has a sequel: Deadly Nightshade.

Fate and Destiny. These two words are quite intriguing. Why do we have to believe in their existence? but what if we have other plans? Can it be rewritten? Just as there are certain rules and regulations cultivated and strongly followed by society, most of which never makes any sense. Is there a no way around it? Should we forever be engulfed by such Superstitious beliefs passed down from our ancestors or should we revamp our current morals to that which sync with the passing times?

As I stumbled to my room drunk and weathered, my phone fell to the floor while I collapsed on my bed, a glimpse of light flashing back at me as I looked down at my fractured phone. It had landed into my notes where a blank page revealed itself before me. Sluggishly, I picked up my phone, writing as I focused to keep one eye open. Raw emotion seeped through this small writing, thus I dare not alter it. I leave it to its end as it did when my levels of intoxication put me to my slumber.

*Update: February 16th, 2019 - I have updated the title and cover even though this story has no new progress made on it. It's still hiatus, and I plan to update it in the future, but I do not how far into the future, I determine it will be a while. I decided to rename the title to sound cooler cuz 'Darkness' ain't gonna cut it, so I replaced it with 'Twilight', sound's nicer to me. Anyways, I hope any who see this like the new cover I drew. Oh, and I will update this in time! I have not abandoned it, I just simply go at my own pace. That's all, have a good one, will ya'? •w< ~★ Synopsis (will be redone eventually xD): This is a story upon which tells of dragons who live in a treacherous land called Alskaavor, bones littered and stacked in the vast wastelands of this place, yet peace is still instilled in the minds of those who have not lost hope. However, one day a dragon darker than the darkest night appears and changes what the dragons once perceived the land was.
