The story follows a person who enters an abandoned amusement park, now overtaken by nature, and discovers a mysterious mirror in a dilapidated funhouse. When they touch the mirror, they are transported to a vibrant, dreamlike version of the park, alive with laughter and activity. However, an underlying sense of unease grows as they overhear whispers about a tragic future. As they approach the Ferris wheel, they witness a catastrophic accident when it collapses onto the crowd. The chaos and fear overwhelm them, and they are suddenly pulled back to the present, where the park is once again silent and desolate. The mirror, once enchanting, now appears lifeless, reflecting the lingering grief and trauma of the past disaster. The protagonist leaves the park, forever changed by the haunting memories of the tragedy.

A world where there are no safe spaces, a world torn apart by creatures made by nightmares. Hero would not have wanted this. GORE WARNING TW FOR: Mentions of religeous trauma (later in the book), Strong religion which might be uncomfy to read for some readers, some parts are just uncomfortable to get through as this is a book about plague and the hardcore issues within it.
