She winced slightly under the dwarves's gazes, feeling the heavy wight of Thorin's glare resting on her shoulders. She felt several stares traveling over the scar running from her left temple to her jawbone and shuddered as they came to rest on the mark beneath her jawbone. She is a Guardian, a dragon keeper, and she was responsible for Smaug's escape from his chains and the fall of Erebor. Raine joins the Company upon Gandalf the Grey's insistance that she would find redemption, but then the Dwarves find out about her past. Will they be as forgiving and understanding as the wandering Wizard is? Or will the bonds she formed with them overcome her past? But more importantly, will Thorin forgive her for damning his people? Maybe he'll allow Smaug one small victory before they reclaim Erebor... Allie, Sam, Grace, Emily, Alex, and the company may be halfway to Erebor but their troubles aren't over yet. No they are in fact just beginning. Emily has a nasty run in with someone long forgotten. Alex can't seem to figure out her overly complicated relationship with Kili. Grace still has a few secrets yet to be discovered. Allie still has yet to free herself from the pain of her past. Sam's old problem with post traumatic stress resurfaces after years of calm. Much is in store for the girls and company so stay tuned. This is the sequel to Adventures Of The Sad, Broken, and Happy.

How different would things have been for the company and more importantly for Thorin if Bilbo was Bella? Bella Baggins was a simple hobbit of Bag-End when Gandalf the Grey came and asked her to partake in an adventure. She never thought that she could embrace her inner Took. And then she met him.
