I went to some amazing places in my dreams. It is a little known fact that Thorin had come to dislike the race of elves; but perhaps it hasn't always been this way, maybe, just maybe, once upon a time there wasn't such high disdain held towards them. The dwarf-Prince's heart isn't as nearly as impenetrable as the vaults of Erebor, a chance find and visit cause a form to grow between two races. If anything the elf-Princess's curiosity about everything, and anything which involved or was created by the hand of dwarf's in turn piques his own curiosity, not finding how something so delicate could find fondness in things so hardened. Regardless, a love formed, two pieces complete only to split thanks to a dragon's attack of the jealousy of what Erebor had within.

Tanna Heledir gets an invitation to join a company of curious individuals with the same goal: reclaim what was once theirs. She had never faced anything so dangerous as this, but it'll all be okay with a handsome Dwarf Prince by her side, right? (A retelling of The Hobbit. She was a hobbit that she knew. But she was also half elf and Bilbo's mother and father Bungo and Belladonna took her in when she was just a small girl. ANd she never expected to grow up and fall in love with a dwarf. SHe never expected to go on a journey of such epic proportions that she would fall in love with him. The one true king of Erebor. When Thorin Oakenshield decided that it was time for the dwarves to reclaim their home, he heard only that Smaug had flown and not returned. Thorin had not heard that the dragon had offspring. After escaping the Mirkwood elves and the Orcs they are so close to their goal, and their homeland. But one of Smaug's offspring has seen them. Kili is injured and they have nothing to defend themselves with. Is this dragon a monster, as Thorin believes? or will it help save the line of Durin? She winced slightly under the dwarves's gazes, feeling the heavy wight of Thorin's glare resting on her shoulders. She felt several stares traveling over the scar running from her left temple to her jawbone and shuddered as they came to rest on the mark beneath her jawbone. She is a Guardian, a dragon keeper, and she was responsible for Smaug's escape from his chains and the fall of Erebor. Raine joins the Company upon Gandalf the Grey's insistance that she would find redemption, but then the Dwarves find out about her past. Will they be as forgiving and understanding as the wandering Wizard is? Or will the bonds she formed with them overcome her past? But more importantly, will Thorin forgive her for damning his people? Maybe he'll allow Smaug one small victory before they reclaim Erebor...
