Ever felt like you were becoming something you don't want to be? Ever realize that what you were was what you wanted to be all along?

"Welcome back little prince," Val said with blood dripping down her face and scalp and back. "You are crazy" he laughed "Trust me you haven't seen crazy yet" Val spit her tooth onto the floor at the prince's feet. "No bitch you haven't seen my crazy yet," the prince said in a low voice. Holding onto Val's hair. "Well then I'm ready" Val giggled "Good" The prince opened the door so that the torturer could come in. This time he came with guards. They unhooked my chains and dragged me outside. They dragged me onto a platform in the town square and tied me to a post. "Here is the mighty goddess of love at her knees" he shouted into the crowd. Then he flicked his whip out and started whipping Vals back. Cutting long jagged cuts into her back with the metal whip. He whipped and whipped until the bone was visible then whipped her across the face. "This is what happens to those who defy me!" the prince shouted. Val laid on the floor, her blood coating the platform, her tears and sweat leaving tracks down her face. And bruises littered her face and neck. Val used the last bit of her strength to turn to the prince and spit blood on his black and white suit. "I'll never kneel," she said weakly choking on her blood, then she passed out from the pain.
