Castiel is a boy who's never really liked girls romantically. His family finds out that he's gay, gives him two lashes with a rope and kicks them out of their house. Now Castiel has no place to stay. But what happens when John, Dean's Father, finds him and takes him to his house?

Dean is a troubled teen about to go off to college at Columbia, when his bestfriend, Charlie, introduces him to a very interesting boy named Cas, coincidentally going to the same college as him.

In a reality where Cas has rewritten history so none of his mistakes post- Dean Winchester exist, everyone is relatively happy. Dean is not in hell, Sam, Bobby, Ellen and Jo are alive, Heaven is fixed (for heaven anyway) and the apocalypse, the leviathan and everything else didn’t happen. Castiel is now human thanks to the spell needed to create this reality, he is also alone. In saving Dean’s happiness, he had to lose his best friend and give up heaven all over again. Hey so I just finished reading Twist and Shout so now I'm feeling angsty and sad. And then I decided to watch the fault in our stars so here we are! I decided to put my own twist on the original book and movie by making the characters into supernatural characters and putting my own writing into it. I'm going based off of the events in the movie. Castiel Novak is a 22-year-old college student with a severe eye condition called glaucoma who is focusing on the Fine Arts at Columbia University. In his senior year at CU he meets Dean Winchester, a student training to be a combat photographer. When Castiel is assigned a project where he must depict something unfamiliar to him, he chooses Dean as the subject of his piece. Dean and Cas are a dysfunctional pair; each with their own flaws, and yet they cannot help themselves from falling in love. But where will it lead?

Looking back he would remember that in his life he would usually have a companion along for the ride, but here he was. As he passed out the drinks, the one they called 'Crowley', the one with the wicked voice, who they called 'Crowley', called Cas over to see his coffee. "Is there something wrong?" Cas asked looking closely at the cup to see what could possibly be wrong. Just as he said that, Crowley splashed the fresh coffee in Cas' face and like a domino effect the others threw their waters at him. Cas stepped back only to slip in the puddle of water and coffee and fall on the floor. Then Crowley got up while laughing and pulled out some money. "This is for the drinks, and here's a tip for making it so funny." He said as he tossed the coins at Cas, who was holding his face in pain and struggling to take a breath. As the entire group left, Cas slowly tried to get up, surprised to be helped by one of the members of the group. It was the one with the green eyes. He knelt down next to Cas and Cas stared at his eyes until he finally said something.

It was Christmas, Dean was 11, Sam was only six. So Sam got his brother a pet guinea pig, something that little kids like. Dean let Sam name the little guinea he had gotten, so it was named Castiel. Sam doesn't know why he named the rodent Castiel, but that name would soon be the most important one in Dean's life.
