This is 14 Years Later, when Chloe is 18. I'm sorry for such a time skip, but as I said in that apology if I get a new idea when I left off on a previous story, usually if it's a time skip I'll try to make it make as much sense as the possible. But, judging from where we left off, Chloe went missing. For 9 years. Will Master Chief get to see him again?? (AND-I've decided Chloe is going to look like Joe Keery with black hair and blonde streaks, da preeeeettiest Blue eyes, very tan, Hispanic, so is Chief-vitiligo, slight cleft lip, and freckles everywhere.) Also, Chloe's fit because yes: Light green striped knitted sweater (the other stripes are darker green) that another oc, Eran made him. Black, bleached jeans (Knees are bleached so they're white lol), black combat boots, and a direct copy of Master Chief's helmet which he ALWAYS wears STRICTLY. Two garnet bead bracelets on his right wrist, an aquamarine bead bracelet on his left. A Master Chief helmet necklace to finish it off Enjoy 😁😁

What makes a guardian a guardian? The Light? The will to protect? The thirst for exploration? Some would say it's simply our gear that makes us powerful, while this is a factor I don't believe it's that simple. Our weapons are only an extension of our abilities, or are they a tool for destruction? Maybe? A tool for protection? What about tools for creation? That might be harder for any of us to wrap our heads around. Our gear creates an opportunity to learn and experiment with ourselves and truly push the boundaries of what we are capable of. And what of our memories? What lengths would some go to in order to regain those lost years before the collapse? In this broken age two things remain: our light, and the conduits we use to exterminate what would threaten it.
