Shall We Date? Destiny Ninja 2: Ran Edith and her cousin Mikaela are descendants of Princess Unmei, the previous wielder of the three sacred treasures. After receiving letters from their uncle, the two are finally called to fulfill their destiny and cleanse the symbol of each village, but there's a twist. They must choose one ninja each to accompany and protect them throughout their journey. Edith is drawn to a certain ninja's beautiful eyes and her instinct just tells her to bring him along. But what happens when their destiny is unraveled more than they expected? What happens when their destiny begins to scare them? Edith chose Ran, the son of the chieftain of the Winter Village, to be her companion. Along the way, they learn many different things. Some helpful, some daunting, and some threatening. The two of them somehow manage to unravel the truth of the island together and quite possibly bite off more than they can chew. No matter what happens, however, they can get through it, because "Love gives people strength." The story takes place on Yamato Island. Ayame is a talented ninja, gifted with the ability to wield a powerful and mystical sword, known as The Sword of the Gathering Clouds of Heaven. Her coming-of-age day is near and the sacred symbols of the four villages composing Yamato Island are becoming corrupted. Her duty, as the daughter of the House of Kushinada, is to purify the symbols of the villages and complete her mission by sunrise on her coming-of-age day. Failure to do so will cause a tremendous disaster that destroys the world. Ayame must now travel across the island to purify the polluted symbols with one of eleven ninjas, each from differing villages and the descendants of legendary ninjas who nurtured emotional bonds with her ancestor. Thus her journey to save the island from disaster begins... Yes, there were eleven . You must have heard of Kaito, Shiroya, Kikyo, Rindoh, Ran, Kikum Ayu, and Yayoi, but what about Flare, Sakura, and Takashi? The three siblings were also ninjas that Ayame could have also picked. This is the true story.
