A spoken word poem on the futility of mankind in the key of pessimistic existentialism.

Everyone has a different perspective when they think about “love”. I found it to be very intriguing when I read a thread and people were asked to define “love” in one word. After looking at their responses, I decided to try to write my own version of love in a short story (scene) form based off of their definition of the word. (More info in the prologue).

Sotto Voce - musical term meaning "softly spoken" It destroyed them. Both of them quick one shot I wrote during one extremely long nights.

Who would have thought that guy with the green jacket could have such an impact on her life? Florence did not have a clue that one person was capable of creating so much turmoil in her life. She always needed to have some sense of control but with him everything was different, she could feel it and it scared her. He on the other hand couldn't even have cared less. Florence was in love or maybe she thought it was love. You don't hurt those that you love but he hurt her and yet she saw the good in him. She saw the good in all because she hoped that they would also see the good in her despite her past mistakes. But the person she once was is hard to keep away from the surface when she's with him because his bad habits have a delicate way of tempting Florence to return to the darkness. But will she leave the light and sink into the darkness, leaving her blind and unaware of her surroundings. Will she sink in further into the darkness or fly up to the light? She was his addiction, a beautiful, promiscuous, lost, addiction who only knew the words "Fuck off". He, well she never knew what he really was to her, a place to crash, extra money on hand, or just maybe something more then a good night's fuck.

Another attempt, perhaps another failure.

Humans left to defend for themselve`s feared of death , with spirits and vampires trying to kill them and devour them. All they can do is try to survive there best they can , but little do they know that sacrifice will be made , loss will play a big part in there ambition to save humanity and store peace but is it possible will things ever be the same again?

Cenobie's family just recently moved into a mysterious new town called Ukiyo after her single mother's transfer of work.
