A modern-day 2026 IT gender-swap AU focused primarily on high-school drama, rivalry, jealousy, character development, secrets, and personal lives, with elements inspired by Mean Girls. The story takes place during a period when Pennywise is asleep, meaning Pennywise isn't an active presence in the story and won't be waking up for a long time. This allows the story to focus almost entirely on the characters themselves rather than supernatural horror. The story still contains many recognizable IT canon details, but those details are gender-swapped, altered, and adapted to fit this version of Derry.

When teamed up with other people who go to Zectroy High like, a boy she never thought could be a friend, and maybe some enemies who know more than she thinks, she can find out the truth of the planet she wanted to go to for years. But how would a school project impact not just her, but every onomorph as well?

A once peaceful world, soon turns to shambles based on one selfish souls decision.

This is pretty much the first little story I've ever written, started in my philosophy class lol. It's just about two friends about to watch a movie together for the first time, finally exposing the feelings they've had for each other but have kept under wraps for too long. (There's not too much dialogue, the focus mainly being on their physical actions🤭) I mean, this is borderline mature but the writing stopped right before it got really juicy. 😉 I have no idea how to format this and I know I made a few mistakes but hey, I'm willing to learn haha I might add more to this if you like it, just let me know if you do. <3 Hope you enjoy :))
