The mysterious wrinkle appeared on the bridge of Daisy's nose and I knew she was thinking what I was I thinking. We all held our breaths as the lanky police man surveyed his surroundings. When Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong are invited to are invited to Beanie's house for the hols, they think it is absolutely spiffing! But soon disaster strikes and the girls find themselves detecting a murder they never wished they had to!

Set in modern times (but the series still exists) beginning just before Daisy comes back to Fallingford in Book 9. There are a few of these and I am taking inspiration, but I will not copy. :) Also, Halexander and Daina are not yet together. Neither are Temperjee.

Daisy and Hazel are staying in London with Uncle Felix and Aunt Lucy when all of a sudden they are asked to go to a Halloween Party to find a murderer with no murder to base anything off of. Seeing some familiar faces, everything seems to be going well. Until it's not. Having lost one of their friends with no clue as to where they went , will they be able to solve one of the hardest cases they've came across, or will the murderer strike again?
