Harry's absolutely mental if he thinks he'll be able to survive the Triwizard Tournament without help. Days before the first task, he's still got no plan, and Professor Snape begins ridiculing him with Draco Malfoy. To both of the boys shock, however, Professor Snape orders Malfoy to work with Harry privately and ensure he does not find himself killed in this Tournament. Malfoy, though a git, does have information that helps Harry through the tasks. Though, he gets himself caught in being forced to take a leave of absence when a mysterious man returns to Hogwarts. Harry finds himself comfortable in this man's presence, but he's not even sure who it is. Then, unexplainable events continue to occur and everything Harry longed for began to become a complete lie.
