Shane McMillan's summer is over. He messed up, he really did. But he remembers the beginning. The way she had come into his life all of a sudden, a whirlwind of spontaneous, a blur of winks and smiles. She took risks and jumped boundaries. She was like a gypsy, moving to new places, pulling Shane along behind her. He wants to go back. Start over. Do it again. Rewind. Throwback.

As a writer, once in a while I need to just take a break from the big works I have. So I decided it'd be a good idea to take a detour and just write some poems and short stories as a way to clear the pallet and refresh my mind. I've decided to put them here for your enjoyment. And, if your bored it's the quick and easy fixer. If you don't like one story or poem, you never know if you'll like the next because each new entry could be totally different. It might be a scrambled mix of thoughts, but maybe you'll find something you like. So, take a detour with me and enjoy.
