Gavin and Nines. A pair no one thought would happen but did. They dated, got married, and even adopted a pair of twins. Life was perfect for them until Nines was assigned a mission and ended up being in a wrong place, wrong time scenario. He got shot and didn't survive. Gavin thought that he would have to live on a heartbroken, single father until Nines came back but not like before. Becoming a deviant canceled his memory transfer so when he rebooted, he was back at square one. Not a deviant and can't feel any emotions. Elizabeth Taylor was the unofficial partner to lieutenant Hank Anderson for many years, that is until the new prototype from CyberLife has officially taken her place. Unwilling to allow an Android to take her place, the three of them begin to investigate the growing crimes amoung Androids and the growing number of deviants in the city of Detriot. Though, it seems things get complicated as machines start to become human while it seems that Elizabeth is not far off from being a machine.

Based off the game, "Detroit: Become Human", I made my own version of this game, but in a story. My story.

First fanfic, 'xcuse the terrible. Me, writing fanficton? It's more likely than you think. In this fic, Gavin Reed struggles through an aching soul to adapt to the new changing world. Androids are now seen as people, but Gavin feels as though he's not. In a few years time I will look on this and I won't be able to sleep bc of embarrassment. But today is not that day.
