{One-shot/ Fluff} You are trying to escape the greedy claws of the men who choose to chase you down. They followed you when you decided to take a different path to arrive home. Connor is played by the actor, Bryan Dechart, and he is in his likeness. * On a funny note, I thought I'd briefly explain how I came up with the idea for this story. I was watching, 'Big Hero 6' by Disney. Now, I know you may be wondering, "How did you get this idea from that animated movie?" The answer is such a tiny part, lol. There's a scene where Hero is cold and wet. So Baymax flops down onto him and starts radiating off heat to increase his internal temperatures. There you have it! Yes, I know. Such a creative name for a story. Anyway, this story is about Connor and Hank facing daily tasks together. Random things happen.. So.. 😂 There may also be some big time jumps in this story so it might not always be daily.

You've always had an interest in androids ever since you were a child. The very thought that technology could create an intelligent life-form that looked just like a human always fascinated you. You quickly became a high ranking student, at one of the top universities for Android studies. To further your training, you were sent for work experience at Detroit City Police Department, and paired up with Lieutenant Anderson and an android named Connor. As you continue to work alongside Hank and Connor, you soon begin to learn things about androids you never noticed before. You also realize that you are finding yourself falling in love with the one person you are not supposed to fall in love with. 'Purple Hearts' puts a unique spin on the events of Detroit Become Human, showing the story of what is behind the scenes, the true feelings of androids, and the lives they struggle to barely survive on the streets. Throughout the story, you slowly begin to see the world in a different light, and through that, you also learn what it means to become human. Who can you really trust when the humans seem more evil than the androids do? The lines blur between the good and the bad; the human, and the android. --- Genres of drama, action, and romance. It follows the direction of the main plot of Detroit Become Human, but I have added various sub plot lines and characters unique to this fanfiction. There is foul language in this story. This is a work of fanfiction based off the game Detroit: Become Human. The characters in the story are owned by David Cage and the creators of Detroit: Become Human. Copycat, a NM000, that also went by the name 'Nina'. These were a prototype used for investigations. Or at least they were suppose to be. Unfortunately, This Android wasn't an official release, it was just a test to work and experiment with. NM000 was the first ever Android with shapeshifting powers, but since they wanted to see if it works first, before producing many more and selling them to police stations, to prevent danger, they created a test version, which is why it was named with the numbers '000', and not '100'. It was the first and last NM, which had a reason. Because what happens when such a powerful android realizes that it doesn't have to be treated that way? That it doesn't have to suffer everyday, going through horrible experiments? What if it realizes what's it capable of, and that it can live freely? Soon, it doesn't have to obey others anymore. Others have to obey HER. - This fanfiction is not a X Reader, but if you'd like, you can position yourself as Copycat. Connor will appear later, not in the first chapter/s.
