The year is 2138. 100 years after the revolution, and of course, 100 years after Connor being created. Androids have been free for decades, but one android doesn't feel so free anymore. Connor misses his partner. He begins to experience more and more emotion to the brink where he doesn't know what it means. He wishes Hank were still alive to help him figure that out.

"I might not have red blood coursing through me, and I might not be made of flesh, but that doesn't mean I can't love you as much as any human could." He said as he cupped your cheek into his cold yet warm hand. The price of falling in love with a machine was high and with the state Detroit is in right now, it made the situation all the more risky. Growing up you never imagined you would be hunting deviants. Or running from the cops for that matter. But here you are in 2038, stuck in the middle of a police investigation and being chased by a certain, pain-in-the-a**, android. It's almost funny, both of you have similar missions, but the reasoning behind them? Completely different. No matter what, there's too much at stake to be caught now. The beginning of the revolution has begun. Author Note: This story will contain swearing and some violence (I will try to keep it light). Just a whole bunch of one-shots because why not.

You've always had an interest in androids ever since you were a child. The very thought that technology could create an intelligent life-form that looked just like a human always fascinated you. You quickly became a high ranking student, at one of the top universities for Android studies. To further your training, you were sent for work experience at Detroit City Police Department, and paired up with Lieutenant Anderson and an android named Connor. As you continue to work alongside Hank and Connor, you soon begin to learn things about androids you never noticed before. You also realize that you are finding yourself falling in love with the one person you are not supposed to fall in love with. 'Purple Hearts' puts a unique spin on the events of Detroit Become Human, showing the story of what is behind the scenes, the true feelings of androids, and the lives they struggle to barely survive on the streets. Throughout the story, you slowly begin to see the world in a different light, and through that, you also learn what it means to become human. Who can you really trust when the humans seem more evil than the androids do? The lines blur between the good and the bad; the human, and the android. --- Genres of drama, action, and romance. It follows the direction of the main plot of Detroit Become Human, but I have added various sub plot lines and characters unique to this fanfiction. There is foul language in this story. This is a work of fanfiction based off the game Detroit: Become Human. The characters in the story are owned by David Cage and the creators of Detroit: Become Human. 'Purple Hearts' is a story told from my imagination and it is for entertainment purposes only.

Copycat, a NM000, that also went by the name 'Nina'. These were a prototype used for investigations. Or at least they were suppose to be. Unfortunately, This Android wasn't an official release, it was just a test to work and experiment with. NM000 was the first ever Android with shapeshifting powers, but since they wanted to see if it works first, before producing many more and selling them to police stations, to prevent danger, they created a test version, which is why it was named with the numbers '000', and not '100'. It was the first and last NM, which had a reason. Because what happens when such a powerful android realizes that it doesn't have to be treated that way? That it doesn't have to suffer everyday, going through horrible experiments? What if it realizes what's it capable of, and that it can live freely? Soon, it doesn't have to obey others anymore. Others have to obey HER. - This fanfiction is not a X Reader, but if you'd like, you can position yourself as Copycat. Connor will appear later, not in the first chapter/s. "(Y/N)!" No response. "Holy shit..." "(Y/N)! Wake up!" No response... "(Y/N)!" An RK800, and a SX300, working on cases about deviants. Due to dying too much, the SX300 barely has memory of Lt. Anderson, and the RK800. Which causes panic for the RK800, although it's instructions are to not distract itself. But.... The RK800, Connor, feels like it's instructions doesn't matter anymore. And it should focus on it's partners. (Y/N), and Hank Anderson. Problem is... (Y/N) barely has memory of their adventures, and Connor's determined to retrieve those memories, before it's to late. So now Hank and Connor are on their own secret case to bring her around. But in the midst of all this... Connor feels like he's not just doing this for (Y/n)'s own good anymore. He wants her to notice him, to like him... what is this strange emotion he's feeling when he's around her? ~ ~ This takes place after the initial game, with it having ended the same way it did on Sean/Jacksepticeye's playthrough so yeah (the best ending where just about everyone lives)
