But when you and a Lieutenant are paired up, only to have a Detective Android show up later to work with the both of you on a case, you freeze up. So you're cold and distant, hoping to get through it as fast as possible. Considering working with an anger management Lieutenant isn't the most fun in the world. You quickly became a high ranking student, at one of the top universities for Android studies. To further your training, you were sent for work experience at Detroit City Police Department, and paired up with Lieutenant Anderson and an android named Connor. As you continue to work alongside Hank and Connor, you soon begin to learn things about androids you never noticed before. You also realize that you are finding yourself falling in love with the one person you are not supposed to fall in love with. 'Purple Hearts' puts a unique spin on the events of Detroit Become Human, showing the story of what is behind the scenes, the true feelings of androids, and the lives they struggle to barely survive on the streets. Throughout the story, you slowly begin to see the world in a different light, and through that, you also learn what it means to become human. Who can you really trust when the humans seem more evil than the androids do? The lines blur between the good and the bad; the human, and the android. --- Genres of drama, action, and romance. It follows the direction of the main plot of Detroit Become Human, but I have added various sub plot lines and characters unique to this fanfiction. There is foul language in this story. This is a work of fanfiction based off the game Detroit: Become Human. The characters in the story are owned by David Cage and the creators of Detroit: Become Human. 'Purple Hearts' is a story told from my imagination and it is for entertainment purposes only.

Mere months ago Detroit was home to an android uprising, androids winning the battle for equality. Being the stubborn person she is, Detective (L/n) refuses to accept androids. So now Hank and Connor are on their own secret case to bring her around. But in the midst of all this... Connor feels like he's not just doing this for (Y/n)'s own good anymore. He wants her to notice him, to like him... what is this strange emotion he's feeling when he's around her? ~ ~ This takes place after the initial game, with it having ended the same way it did on Sean/Jacksepticeye's playthrough so yeah (the best ending where just about everyone lives)

(let me know what you think) I had an idea to make a story where the reader gets to decide what happens and since DBH has so many possibilities, I wanted to make a book that changes based on what you decide, just like the game! At this point, this is only a concept, but I wrote the first chapter and I wanna know what you think! I'm still unsure whether to write all the outcomes and tell the reader what chapter to go to for which choice they make (I would not make a Kara route), or to let the readers vote and then write the next chapter (Kara route would be one of the voting options). Please let me know what you think and which way I should write it!!!
