Gavin gets woken up by nines having a nightmare

just some reed900 oneshots this is my first time writing anything like this, much less putting it out there, so any constructive criticism or ideas would be much appreciated, thanks!!

"What do you want? Asshole." The detective sneered as he took another inhale, looking up and down at the polished android. Always looking flawless and uptight, it even made the detective uncomfortable seeing how tight the androids tie where. "Is this the time when I remind you, that smoking isn't good for your health?" The android sighed, looking at the other man. Trying to reach out to him, hoping to find anything that would give some sign. A sign that they could be more, more than colleagues. *** What if DE was in the 1920's? This fanfic takes the best out of the 1920's and Detroit Evolution, making my own AU. Where both futuristic technology and Charleston exits together, the revolution has happen and all androids are deviant, or are they? Androids are the most technologically advanced things, designed by Elijah Kamski himself. They served as both help for the police and as servants before the revolution but now they are consider as their own species, able to have their own homes and rights. Though there are some things that are still seen bad on, and not as acceptable yet by the general public. That is intimate relationship between androids and humans, but there ain't any laws banning them. Also no segregation between humans, only between androids and humans, no laws forbidding queer relationships too.

New Detective Kinsley Beck finds herself entangled in a forbidden romance with her android partner, the RK800 model. After the successful revolution, humans must now navigate a world with a new form of intelligent life, and Kinsley has to reshape her understanding of humanity as she uncovers the hidden intentions of her father's company, Cyberlife. After closing Ada's case, Gavin and Nines return to normal life with the addition of their new relationship. However, love alone can't change Gavin Reed. It can't erase the struggles of his past or his hostile temperament, and his relationship with Nines pays the price. Following yet another argument late at night, Gavin storms out of the precinct alone. He doesn't return to work in the morning, and a haunting clue suggests there may be more to Gavin's disappearance than a temper tantrum. When a mysterious person contacts Nines and reveals they have taken Gavin hostage, Nines is given a choice: kill Markus, so Gavin's captor can take his place and lead androids to supremacy above all beings, or find Gavin's body in the Detroit River. Faced with the impossible decision of choosing between the man he loves and the man who gave him his freedom, Nines is determined to find another way. However, if he fails to find a solution soon enough, his decision might just be made for him.

Gavin listens to ada and nines conversation before finding nines on the verge of shut down

Nines is missing, Gavin is struggling with out him. When will he see his love again? This story starts two days after the movie Detroit Evolution. It's fantastic go watch it.
