Broadly, this can even refer to selective breeding, but for the purposes of BioPunk fiction, it tends to refer to things like bioengineering, or biomods, which are programmed to enhance or alter the abilities of an individual.

I'm back, still not sure how good this story will be, again, it is my fist one,

In the 2020s, many biotechnology companies existed all over the world and were helping to advance mechanical augmentations, making them commonplace in society but was still controversial. One such company, Sarif Industries, which had been founded in 2007 and had quickly grown to become one of the major biotech companies by 2027. By 2027, Multinational biotech corporations specializing in human enhancement are competing for dominance in what has become a controversial field. Many engage in wars against each other, employing thieves, moles, and hackers to steal their competitor's ideas. To protect it's research, Sarif Industries has recently developed it's own internal security force. Enter Adam Jensen, the newly appointed head of Security of Sarif. (Story edited so it would work as my school project story.)

Izuku Midoriya wanted to be a hero. However, his hopes were dashed when it was found he didn't have a quirk. Not to be discouraged, his father, a decided to steer him onto his own profession, that of a detective due to the brilliant mind of his son. Tragedy struck a few years later when his father was killed and he was sent into a coma, until he was awoken to find most of his flesh and bone body was replaced with mysterious cybernetic augments; the likes of which were never before seen. The type that would give most Pro Heroes and their quirks a run for their money if he adjusted to them enough. And the more shocking thing was..... none of it was rejected by his unique biology, while normally anyone else, quirked or not, would require heavy doses of drugs to even let 25% of the augs respond. Now armed with a body so versatile it makes quirks look obsolete and renewed determination, he will become the detective hero he wanted to be and hunt down the bastards that killed his father and make them face justice. (I saw there wasn't enough cyborg Izuku, so I gave it a shot. To those wondering, this Izuku is based on the newer Deus Ex's Adam Jensen since I didn't play the OGs. Also, expect this to have fewer updates since I gotta incorporate some Deus Ex lore with MHA.)
