Abyss was in Wyoming in 2005, when the tornados ravaged the land. In 2005, they were all 6. They were all born in the summer of 1999. Floods and storms follow Lynx, while landslides and earthquakes follow Prairie. Abyss seems to be stalked by tornados and windstorms; fires and volcanic eruptions follow Kestral. What happens when they meet the summer of their 18th birthday?

Stolen is about a teenaged girl who gets abducted at an airport. Her name is Gemma. Gemma went to buy some coffee, but she couldn't pay for it. The store didn't take British coins. So Ty offered to buy it. Ty has been watching her since she came in the airport. While he was walking back to the table with the drinks he drugged hers. When Gemma finally woke up she didn't know where she was. He had stolen her. He stole her from her life, parents, friends and society. Later on in the book I learned that he took her to west Australia. She was out there with him for almost 2 months. In the 2 months she started to fall in love with the man who ruined her life.

As unspeakably destructive consumerism lays waste to much of the planet's biosphere, humans are (ever so) slowly waking up to the harm and true cost of our way of life. We see yet refuse to see at the same time. We are loath to give up our creature comforts, our toe-hold in the climb for status, our relative sense of security, even though Life on the planet is threatened with irreversible harm, perhaps even annihilation. We've forgotten where we come from and no longer question the lie passed down to us from generation to generation. That we deserve to live like royalty at the expense of all other forms of life. That we are the ultimate Masters of the World. Holding on to this conviction, despite what we know in our hearts and minds, will soon send us spiralling into a chain reaction of disasters. As chaos overtakes our planet, we will rue the day we turned our backs and simply let it happen. What will we tell our children and grandchildren? Read at your own risk!!
