[Very loosely based on RWBY] After humanity is nearly wiped out in a brutal war with the creatures of darkness, “Grimm,” the world is looking for warriors to stand up and defend our species, to win this battle once and for all and maybe return the world we forged to its former glory…except no one is willing. Men and women are fleeing their homes to avoid being forced into war, and humanity’s desperation is severe. In a final attempt to avoid fate, the government begins plucking children from their families and training them as huntsmen and huntresses in isolated academies around the world. Serutear Academy is one of the largest, located near what remains of Treetopia and fed experienced students by the smaller schools, forging them into the most elite fighters possible. Among these huntsmen-in-training live nine boys with no connection whatsoever, who will soon find themselves pushed into a bloated but powerful team and told that they may be humanity’s last hope.
