Nancy Ellis has been employed in a private investigation company since she was twenty-six, all because she met a certain man named Frank Lundy on her interview day. Her now mentor, Lundy, is beginning to delve deep into closed cases-including the Bay Harbour Butcher case. Upon arriving at the Homicide Department as an intern planted by Lundy, Nancy quickly makes an impression. Especially on the person she's purposefully shadowing-Dexter.

Dexter Morgan is a blood splatter analyst for Miami Metro Police Department, the best one at that. Dexter Morgan is also the dark defender of Miami, a serial killer that hunts killers. The best one at that... too Alexei L. Novikov is a secret agent for the Criminal Population Containment Agency, used to doing most of the job alone. And yet, is one of the best workers in the Agency. Until they get forced to find a new agent for the Squad. Dexter pictured himself working alone until the end of the days, feeding his Moondancer. His dark passenger. Alexei just wants to have a decent partner, and if stalking and begging for the blood guy to join them is enough to get that, then that's what they'll do. NOTES: CPCA is for an original work, along with the original characters. But i wanted to make a Dexter/CPCA fic first because... well, i want to. Also, if the title of the chapter starts with a song reference it's going to focus a little bit more on the OC's, if it's a Dexter reference (series or novel) then it's focused on the Dexter characters. Every chapter will have a song at the beginning or the end for you to listen to :)

It takes place after Dexter: New Blood and that Dexter escaped. He searches for this greatest and ultimate kill next Joe Goldberg. Joe is now living in France searching for Marienne. Since he can't find Marienne he becomes obsessed with his next "You" Emily Cooper. Once he starts dating her everything begins to unravel when Dexter finds out Joe is in Paris. At the same time Mabel Mora, Oliver Putnam & Charles Haden-Savage while on vacation in Paris finds out the Bay Harbour butcher is in Paris so they decide to do a Podcast on him and find him while Angel Batista and his team also finds him. Barry Berkman and Liv Taylor are also involved. The Riverdale gang is somehow involved As well. Will Dexter or Joe get caught before one of them kills each other? Who will win? Dexter or Joe?

The Entity was always looking out for particular.....individuals. People who it could use to bring hope to the survivors and make it seem like they had the slightest possibility to actually escape the horror....survivors. Normal (for the most part) people who were ripped away from their lives and thrust in a life worse than hell And then it looked for people to take that hope away, to fill the survivors hearts with nothing but pain and misery......Killers. Some are people, who have had their lives torn apart and in turn, were make killers. Others who've had a choice but chosen to ignore what was right............And most were just pure monsters without a conscience, and kill without reason....or remorse. So the question is this, how do we stop the monsters from doing what they do? how do we make sure that they never take an innocent life ever again? ......Well with another Monster of course. (Don't know why i have to say this but i don't own DBD or Dexter in any way)
