At twenty-two, the consequences became impossible to escape when severe neuropathy left me struggling to walk and facing the reality that my body had been pushed to its limits. The long road back is a raw and honest story about growing up with diabetes, losing control, and finding the strength to take it back before it was too late.

Because as I know, most of us lose hope when going through catastrophes. But you know what? We should be the strongest at those times, because sooner or later, better things are coming.
