This is a poem I wrote for Amadou Diallo, a man who was shot at 41 times for no reason except for the fact that he was black.

"My mom...my dad...gone. They say I have powers. Powers that are way stronger and beyond belief. I don't even know who I am anymore" Everyone she loved is dead...or at least could be. When a man made tornado rips through her land, her life goes haywire. That's until ...he... comes along and tries to help her. In this story a girl that was abandoned from everything she knew was taken away to an Amazon Tribe at the age of 6. She adapts to her life as much as she can and falls in love with a boy with a big secret.
