jay drives when he can't sleep. mia talks when she's nervous. neither of them knows how to say what they actually mean. set in a small town full of gas stations, late-night roads, orange streetlights, and the kind of silence that says too much. this story is basically: slushies emotional repression parking lots two people accidentally becoming important to each other for people who romanticize: rainy windows, old hoodies, music at midnight, diner fries, and sitting in cars feeling strangely devastated for no reason slow burn. weirdly personal dialogue. probably too many traffic lights.

Mabel tells Dipper about her crush and they come up with the most Mabel like confession! Then Mabel makes it come true and Mabifica are being cuties patooties(also we should change that name to something like "Starlama", cause the original one is just too boring) This is happening sometime between episodes after Fords return. Follows the story of new builder, Anna, in Portia, and a certain Civil Corps captain who never expected her to catch his eye. Based VERY closely on the original storyline of the game. I wasn't happy with how disjointed day-to-day interactions with characters felt, and wanted to fill up the moments in between in my head.
