Dialogueonly Stories

Every wonder what it is like to have people call you looking for help with foolish things. Well, wonder no more. This is a dialogue-only story. That's right, a story without using any "he said; she yelled; they slapped; the phone rang; etc." It's just like a normal conversation, but without the identifiers.

Rivers Walter is hospitalised after a major car accident, right before the football finals. It's the worst thing that's ever happened to him. But then he converses with the girl who shares the room with him. The mysterious girl who seems to know a lot about him, but refuses to tell him much about herself. However, Rivers is bent on uncovering this girl's secrets and he has never been known to back down from a challenge. What starts out as small talk might just be the start of a friendship and perhaps something more. And just maybe, this isn't the worst thing that has ever happened to Rivers.

In the whole world of fanfiction, very few people truly give credit to the greatest love story that Ninjago has to offer... So here, have this drabble thing I wrote (implied Glacier)

Michael is discovering the world and everything in it for the first time. Darren is showing Michael the world. Through this compilation of dialogues between the two characters, bits of the world are described through these characters' eyes.

This is a very short piece I wrote when asked to write something with dialogue only. Yes, that's right. No words can be used that aren't spoken. No "he said," or "she said." I thought I'd put it here in case you find it funny and have a spare moment. It is the conversation between the first man to land on another (inhabited) world and mission control in Houston. He's landed on Europa to meet an alien but, it seems, he's been left out of the loop. I wrote it when I discovered that everyone in the world is on Facebook except me. I, like our hero, was out in the cold. As a writing challenge, dialogue only is something you should try. If only once...
