AlterroJohnathan
This poem is based on existential thoughts any other student like me at least once had. It lists concerns about the expeditious time passage, one's place in this world and society, their worth, rejection of true self, disbelief in own strengths, as well as communication issues, toxic dependence, misunderstanding and despair.
I don't really want to say too much about it, as I hope that every reader will develop their own, unique perception of my words and maybe even point out something dear, close and important for themselves.
P.S Extra Info:
"Insignificant Dialogues" was originally written in terms of the International Poetry Competition for the Countries of the Mediterranean and Arabic Countries (https://www.mediterraneanpoetry.com/), as one of the representative poets of Cyprus I happened to be, he-he (we got awarded, btw). However, I see it more of a faithful push to try to convert the inner storm into words and let out on the paper all the tension of the existential crisis I got because of my birthday and the upcoming graduation.
