When a guy accidentally texts a random number in a desperate bid to reach his friend, the last thing he expects is for the stranger on the other end to be so persistent, so sarcastic, and so completely irritating. Enter the girl who's having way too much fun with his frustration, sending him a mix of ridiculous texts and unsolicited nicknames. What starts as a mix-up quickly turns into an ongoing battle of wit, insults, and way too many "pumpkins" thrown in for good measure. Despite all the sarcasm, the messages start to mean more than either of them could have expected, and soon he's wondering if maybe he's found more than just a wrong number. One wrong text. Hey! So, this book will basically just be filled with random dialogue that my mind comes up with, and some stuff you may see in the future. I'm not adding any speaker tags or description though. Meet Megan, a sarcastic sixteen year old girl who finds happiness while working at Prime Pizza, a small pizzeria in Los Angeles. After hours, Megan is a totally different person under her cool facade with secrets that could change everything if anyone found out. Now meet Jake, a rowdy eighteen year old boy who misdials when trying to call his friend Brody and ends up calling Prime Pizza. Around his friends, he's a fun-loving guy; but once he meets Megan, he finds his sensitive side and learns he has a soft spot just for a girl he began talking to on accident. That one accidental phone call turns into daily conversations between the two. Megan just needs a friend to talk to, and Jake wants to be exactly that. One morning everything changed for Dakota Barns. She had always wanted to be famous in some way. And to act in a big movie or show was her dream. So she did. She worked hard every day, until she felt ready. She'd gone to camps, and even played𝑞 in the cringy school plays for the hell of it. One day a manager saw her work, and thought of her as amazing. One day she got a call, explaining that she had been rolled to audition for euphoria. Is a cheeseburger a hamburger with cheese right? Well, not to Ryder. Ordering a double cheeseburger at Zac's diner may turn his life upside down, all starting with one girl saying that a cheeseburger is with cheese.

Star varsity quarterback Ethan Noble is alone in his car with cheerleading captain Mandy Ellis. It's Prom Night, the night he has been waiting for with great anticipation. She has agreed to be his girl, mind, body, and soul. A blinding light cuts through the shadows in the back seat of the car. A moment later, the ground shakes with a mild tremor that causes Ethan and Mandy to look up from their business. Beyond the windshield, the reason for the light and the quake is obvious: a massive mushroom-shaped explosion blossoms upward into the night sky.

"Hello"? "Um, is your- *snicker* refrigerator running"? *dial tone
