Whisper had lost everything, the Resistance was losing the war. After she saves the life of a grey-furred hedgehog multiple times, and after the Resistance has won and she has avenged her team, she realises she may have found something, too.

What if Mimic, at the last minute, chose to turn against Eggman once more and save the lives of the Diamond Cutters? What effects would be felt if this freedom-fighting team were never disbanded and met the rest of the Sonic cast? Prepare for found family, gay ships, and fluff! Ships are Whispangle, past Whisper/Claire, Slinger/Sonic, and Mimic/OC. AU originally owned by @hamatopurity on Tumblr, but I came up with ideas for it as well. To infiltrate the Restoration, shapeshifting criminal Mimic the Octopus takes on the false identity of an innocent young cat and aspiring Diamond Cutter named Duo. But what if Duo was more than a false identity? What if he was real? (Basically this is my way of coping with the loss of this design in canon) Recently ranked #1 in silverthehedgehog even though Silver hasn't even shown up yet. I dunno, you figure it out.

A Continuation of the SPR Series (Book Four) From friends once thought to be gone forever, to the appearance of foes from another dimension, to just regular day-to-day life, it seems our heroes can never catch a break! Infinite the jackal, joined by Shadow the hedgehog, finds himself on a new assignment for his job under G.U.N.: to serve as the guide and mentor for two trainees under the Foundation for Villain Redemption. To his surprise and Shadow's annoyance, those trainees turn out to be none other than Eclipse the Darkling, the last of the Dark Arms and Shadow's half-brother, and Mimic the shapeshifting octopus, a two-faced mercenary with a past of treachery and deceit. Watching out for these two "former" villains will prove difficult enough, but will our heroes be able to handle their responsibilities on top of all the chaos that unfolds? Formed during the 'War to Take Back the Planet', the Diamond Cutters are an elite anti-Eggman team comprised of mercenaries who are dedicated to combating Dr. Eggman's armies. Operating in secrecy, the team struck swiftly against the doctor's advances, effectively turning the tides of the war wherever they deployed. While their achievements in the field were usually mistaken as the work of the Resistance, the team never seemed to mind, as it kept them anonymous, and in turn, away from Eggman's immediate line of sight. The team is composed of six highly specialised members, with each being skilled in a particular field. Smithy, the crafter and de facto leader, provided the team with cutting-edge equipment and mission objectives. Claire, the Psy-op, served as the team's tactician, handling psychological interrogations as well as devising escape routes during missions. Slinger, the marksman, excelled in precision shooting, taking out enemies from a distance with unmatched accuracy. Mimic, the infiltrator, used his shapeshifting abilities to blend in, gather intelligence, and sabotage enemy operations. Whisper, the scout, remained on the outskirts of mission areas, using her long-range capabilities to incapacitate enemy reinforcements. Y/N, the close-quarters combat specialist, is usually at the centre of the fighting, drawing enemy fire while quickly devising strategies on the fly and protecting his team without hesitation. ---------------------------------- Suddenly, the hanger door slams shut, its sudden closure reverberating through the entire room. As the team turns to inspect the sudden noise, they are startled as they notice all the pods around them beginning to open, revealing dark figures with crimson eyes. (???): "We're sealed in!" (???): "WEAPONS FREE! FIRE AT WILL!" (???): "MIMIC! WHISPER! WE NEED EVAC NOW!" (???): "THERE'S TOO MANY OF THEM!" (???) "MIMIC! WHERE ARE YOU!"

My first Sonic fanfic: Whisper discovers that Mimic was not eliminated and was revived by Fishy, while the Diamond Cutters meet a new group called the Emerald Team, Tangle, Sonic and the friends they have will face the two enemies together, action and adventure will happen, full of good fighting with a fast-paced story, What will happen, will the heroes defeat the new threat? The characters are created by Sega and the new characters are created by me.
