As well as this, there is a new character from the Calore brothers childhood who is destined to save one and destroy the other, but can she overcome fate? Can she page her own path? This is basically my rewrite of the series with different things added in or changed! I love the original but I always wonder what would have happened if somebody never chose someone and so on! Characters belong to Victoria Aveyard with the exception of a few, you'll know which ones aren't hers because they aren't mentioned in the original book! Hope you enjoy! This is the story of Mare rekindling things with Cal, Evangeline trying to deal with the current issue facing The New Free Republic of Norta, an assassination attempt that left Julian, the current Premier on his deathbed, and Farley trying to figure out what, if any, Powers her infant may possess and how on earth she's going to deal with them. *Though none of this is a Marecal oneshot, Cal's fourth POV can be read as one. **I OWN NOTHING!!
