Cuphead and Mugman lost the fight for their souls, but the Devil had a trick up his sleeve. They could become their servants for life...separated. I'm sure you all know the story by now. They sold their souls to the Devil, they went out to do his dirty work, they win or they lose. But I bet you didn't the story in between all that. The hidden romance between supposed enemies. The plans to throw the brothers off course. The rebellion between debtors. The real fights. Contains mild fluff. Drugs are implied, but not clearly written. Smoking is written. Violence and intense fighting is written. No A/N's will be posted. I'm treating this like a professional story. Cuphead and Mugman were given two choices. Either they could collect the soul contracts of monstrous and painful debtors... or the two cups could become the servants of the Devil. Can you guess what they picked?

Cuphead snuggled deeper into his sleeping-bag in attempts to elude the chill of autumn's crispness; though, his effort had nothing to do with the warmness rising up in him. "I still can't believe you did that!" "Shhh," He said, a goofy smile splitting his face. "What?" He whispered. "That I talked you into sneaking to the lake with me in the first place, or that I pulled you in?"

"Mugman and Cuphead work at the casino as waiters. But they both have a tiny, small, itty-bitty, huge secret. Cuphead is in a relationship with the sleazy casino manager King Dice, and Mugman is dating none other than the Devil himself. When they announce their relationships to the public one problem shows it's self. Almost everyone in Inkwell has a crush on the two brothers and nobody knows why. Yet still King Dice and the Devil still love their boyfriends. After Mugman is attacked by a crazy fanboy the Devil decides to put matters into his own hands. He gives Mugman a bouquet of 5 black roses. Mugman smells them and immediately passes out. After he wakes up the Devil explains that he used magic to give Mugman 5 different powers (one rose for each ability): Flight (through wings he can make appear on his back at will) Telekinesis Immortality Ice magic And the ability to poison anyone at will. It sounds fine at first until he accidentally almost kills Cuphead. Will he find a way to control his magic or will he become a dish of destruction? Find out in Black Roses, Black Heart's."
