Unexpectedly, her dad is sent to jail for supposedly accepting bribes from Rupert Thorne. Between college classes and setting up a lawyer for her father, Barbara feels she is prepared for anything, except for when she receives some news that shakes her world. Her father has been kidnapped and taken hostage! Barbara soon deduces that something fishy is going on and decides it is time to take matters into her own hands. She takes on the suit of Batgirl and gets ready to spread her wings and take flight. Based on the episode "Shadow of the Bat" in Batman: The Animated Series (1992)

I know the title is bad but I couldn't think of a better one Robin has one strange life filled with super hero friends, insane older brothers and on top of that being a hero himself, dick Grayson and Barbara Gordon make friends with Artemis crock, then the team comes along and complicates things. Including • babs x dick ( sorry birdflash fans) •reverse batfam • Artemis x Wally (again sorry 😐)

Dick Grayson was mistreated by his team as Robin and looked down upon by Bruce. After putting up with it for years, Dick's had enough. He quits the team and runs away from Bruce, leaving behind only a note. He goes to Bludhaven, re-emerging as Nightwing. Once old enough, he secures himself a job at BPD, becoming their star detective. A few years later, at 22, he is approached by his old team, they being unaware of his true identity, with an offer for him to join the Justice League. Is it possible for a superhero to go to college? Obvious! If everyone who is human can go to college, than anyone can. That's what this story is halfway about. Dick Grayson, Nightwing, finally decides to give the hero thing a break and actually get a real job. So, he goes to college for a while and tries to learn to be a police officer. But when he runs into his best friend, Wally West, he also learns to get kicked out of college and their friend ship goes down hill. When Jason Todd returns to Gotham Tim Drake vows to avoid him but life rarely works according to plan. As Tim finds himself forced to work with Jason and Jason interacts with the family more they are all forced to deal with issues they'd rather avoid, even some non-Jason ones. This is set about two years after Bruce returns from being lost in time but no Batman Inc. and no dead Dami/Dick/Tim, etc (they really need to stop killing people). So my take on how things might have played out if Jason decided to come back and be part of the family with no reboot. This story takes place three years after Dick Grayson aka Nightwing left to become the leader of the Teen Titans, he returns to his real family. Where he finds an all ready died second boy wonder and a 3rd all ready in the house. Not to mention the love of his life Barbara Gordon. But what will happen when the team finds out that Jason is still alive.
